I am passionate about paint and happy to share some clips I have made of some of my processes. Works on paper are quickly built up and are instinctive. Oils, given my considered techniques are layered and glazed over days and weeks, sometimes years. The larger works come into being after an extended period of concentration. There will be a point where ‘flow state’ is reached where external influences are no longer present and choices are made intuitively in reaction to the marks made before and the intention in mind. Over time I intend for this page to build into a series of ‘painting bytes’ to allow you to attain a bigger picture of how I work.
