This project sees Helen turn to paper and new mediums. Her latest body of work speaks of an electric creativity; of a maker deeply connected to her practice, and not scared to explore the perception of both the good and the bad. She’s presenting not only peaceful moments of sea and sky but also forceful scenes which encapsulate the moment.

Such unprecedented times have led me to create a series of works which were all part of the Artist Support Pledge. One of my wishes was to make something positive from a time of such uncertainty and worry. Another wish was to create visual and mental escapism for others to enjoy when the wider world wasn’t accessible.
