MAY 2008
The recent exhibitions in Bristol and Montrose have been a great success.
New works have since been started following a trip over to the West Coast. Spent a wonderful day on the Cruachan Hills and brought back inspiring research for the next paintings.

The Kranenburg Gallery in Oban will be showing new works in the months to come. Watch this space for details.

Enjoyed a visit to John Lowrie Morrison’s (JOLOMO) studio on the West Coast of Scotland.

Very successful exhibition at the Air Gallery London. Thanks to all who attended. All the work on show was inspired by long walks in the Scottish Winter Hills: namely Tolmount, Tom Buidhe, the Eastern most Munros, the Sidlaws in Angus and the Lomonds in Fife.

Currently discussing a showing with Caledoniart at La Galleria in Pall Mall in December.

Have since spent some time on the East Coast, just south of Aberdeen, researching for my next exhibition and for a commissioned piece of Dunnotter Castle.

Awarded runner up of the largest privately funded art award in the UK. The prizes for the inaugural Jolomo Lloyds TSB Landscape Painting Awards 2007 were presented at a ceremony in the Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh on the 21 June.
