October
Thanks to all who supported the Shirley Crowther and Meffan shows. I was delighted with the feedback and positive responses to my new works. Jan Patience from the Herald wrote about solo show in the 'Gallery Round Up'. Seventeen new works are on route to the Affordable London.
September
Finished large body of work for solo show at the Meffan celebrating the gloom and glory of the Scottish Landscape and completed new works for the Shirley Crowther Gallery.
June
The Kilmorack exhibition was well received with a great review from Georgina
Coburn at Hi~Arts.
"Here subtle variations of the palette, understanding of form and composition and handling of paint are acutely balanced. She distills the experience of the physical landscape into tangible poetic abstraction, creating an image which allows us not just to see but to feel unique qualities of location. These are images for the eye and mind to wander into rather than the two dimensional presentation of a particular view."
Taking stock! With the flurry of activity for the latest shows June is proving to be a month of planning and preparation for upcoming shows in the Autumn.
Meeting with Shirley Crowther (Shirley Crowther Contemporary Fine Art) to confirm plans for exhibition in September.

July
Work on my WASPS studio in an old Dundee Jute Mill has been
completed, giving it a wonderful and much needed face lift.
I have been walking and climbing in the local hills in the Angus Glens.
Those of you on my mailing list will be aware that there are stories
to these hills; mythical and ancient, and fantastical and personal
that have caught my attention and imagination. These combined with
the humble geography and the physicality of the paint have helped me
to create a fascinating new series of works.
May
The recent exhibitions in Bristol and Montrose have been a great

New works have since been started following a trip over to the West Coast.
Spent a wonderful day on the Cruachan Hills and brought back inspiring
research for the next paintings.

Very successful exhibition at the Air Gallery London. Thanks
to all who attended. All the work on show was inspired by long walks
in the Scottish Winter Hills: namely Tolmount, Tom Buidhe, the Eastern
most Munros, the Sidlaws in Angus and the Lomonds in Fife.
Currently discussing a showing with Caledoniart at La Galleria in Pall Mall in December.
Have since spent some time on the East Coast, just south of Aberdeen, researching for my next exhibition and for a commissioned piece of Dunnotter Castle.
